Building on the September session, we were once again given the opportunity to conduct workshops in Chubu and Kanto, focusing on junior coaching with Nikke Wellness.

One of the joys of these workshops is meeting graduates who are now thriving in their respective fields. This time too, we spent truly meaningful hours together. Our sincere thanks go not only to all participants but also to those who worked hard behind the scenes to prepare for the sessions.

As school education continues to evolve, reforms in extracurricular activities are gradually progressing, and private school programs are also undergoing change. For parents, entrusting children to adults requires trustworthiness above all—whether in the classroom or in club activities.

Unfortunately, recent social issues, such as misconduct by teachers, have shaken public confidence. What should be a given—ensuring children’s safety and peace of mind—has become a matter of concern for many parents. This makes the quality and integrity of instructors all the more essential.

Private lessons, whether piano, swimming, English conversation, or tennis, should serve as a “third place” for children—a space where they can enjoy attending, make friends, be praised, and be guided with care and discipline. Ideally, society and parents together can support children in ways once expected only of schoolteachers.

We are encouraged by Nikke Wellness’s ongoing commitment to regular training, ensuring and enhancing the quality of their instructors. We hope to see more private organizations adopt similar initiatives—for the benefit of the children who gather there above all.
