This message comes from someone with deep knowledge and passion for sports.

Club activities have long been a part of school education. While the system is undergoing changes, it remains our responsibility as adults to continue providing opportunities for children to engage with sports. Through sports, we hope children will learn the value of hard work, the courage to keep challenging themselves without fear of failure, and the ability to communicate effectively with their friends.

However, as adults in positions of guidance, when do we ourselves make the effort to improve, to take on challenges, and to develop our own communication skills with children? Those of us who expect children to be independent—what kind of independence do we ourselves demonstrate in our approach to coaching?

Are we truly providing children with meaningful experiences that will positively impact their lives through sports?

To improve the quality of coaching, we need places like FSC. It is up to us to transform sports education in Japan. By continuing to learn and grow, we can undoubtedly bring about change in Japanese sports. Let’s start changing Japan’s sports education—together, from FSC.
